Parents’ perspective on a children’s learning

چکیده

Contemporary curricula of early childhood education were founded on perspective playing learning child. Although that approach leads to children’s well-being, research by Yahya (2006) has shown parents do not want their children learn through play, rather focus and preschool teaching academic skills. If expect professionals deliver the knowledge necessary for development skills children, been conducted parental experience a child’s learning. The aim was find out how understand children's contemporary concepts child as well competence. in period from November 2017 May 2019. Parents involved study, documented family environment, assessing competencies. Results show see everyday situations whereas related mode (direct letters), only appeared one example. At end research, participated group interview, discussing expectations institution towards educating children. results showed encourage child's social skills, while are ranked lower.
